A producer not established in France that is subject to French EPR must generally appoint a mandataire established in France.

How we help

We identify the in-scope streams, put in place the written mandate required for a liable producer not established in France, and prepare the supported registrations. The standard public routes use Léko for household packaging and graphic paper, Ecologic for EEE, Batribox for batteries and Refashion for TLC. Each ADEME UIN is matched to the producer entity and stream before the declaration calendar is set.

Producers placing in-scope products on the French market must register for the relevant EPR stream and obtain a Unique Identification Number (UIN, or Identifiant Unique). Marketplaces can request that stream-specific identifier as compliance evidence.
