VAT EPR EXPERTFrance

EPR authorised representation in France

French EPR rules require producers placing in-scope products on the French market to register, declare and contribute to the right eco-organism. Since 10 July 2026, a business not established in France that is subject to French EPR must appoint a mandataire established in France, by written mandate. The obligation is assessed product by product: it counts as met for products where a France-established online interface operator already assumes the EPR obligations.

Select a plan

One annual service fee applies per EPR category and covers representation where required, registration and UIN/IDU administration, and the ongoing declaration service described for that category. Household packaging and paper uses the separate packaging price. Prices exclude VAT, eco-contributions and exceptional work outside the stated scope.

A producer not established in France that is subject to French EPR must generally appoint a mandataire established in France.

How we help

We review the producer and product streams, define the obligations accepted in the written mandate, and coordinate the supported registrations and declarations. Our named ecommerce routes are Léko for household packaging and graphic paper, Ecologic for EEE, Batribox for batteries and Refashion for TLC. Other streams require a separate scope review before acceptance.

What's included

  • EPR scope review by product category
  • Authorised representation mandate
  • Registration with the relevant eco-organisms
  • UINs obtained and tracked
  • Declaration calendar set up
  • Marketplace evidence support

A controlled path from review to evidence

  1. Map every applicable stream

Identify the producer entity, covered products and packaging placed on the French market.

  2. Review existing registrations

Check UINs, scheme memberships, account authority and declaration history.

  3. Execute the written mandate

Define the obligations accepted by the France-established representative.

  4. Align accounts and filings

Update the operational authority and retain the mandate with the registration evidence.

Documents and source data

  • Foreign producer's company and director documents
  • French product and packaging scope
  • Existing scheme memberships and UINs
  • Written mandate defining the accepted EPR obligations
  • Historic declarations and contribution records

Example: a foreign seller already has French UINs

The identifiers are not automatically discarded. We review the mandate, producer entity, scheme accounts and filing authority stream by stream, then coordinate only the changes that the current legal and operational setup requires.
